"For You formed my inward parts; You knitted me together in my mothers womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made." Psalm 136:13-14
We do not know what the future will bring, yet the many blessings God has given us testify to His generosity. Solomon encourages us to share generously what we have, without fear that we will have nothing left. He urges us to do work needed to do without worrying whether what we sow may grow to harvest. As God blesses us, we work and share with others with joy, knowing it is God who makes everything.
We can't see the future and don't understand all they mysteries of this life, "the way the spirit comes to the bones in the mothers womb with child" (Ecclesiastes 11-5), but as Psalm 136 consoles us, God knew us even before we were born. We may not know what we need or what the future will bring, but God, who knows our name, will supply our needs. He is always present, leading us, guiding us, and comforting is. He bestows in us His love and mercy, giving us just what we need.
Celebration Sunday, March 21, will help stock the FOOD SHELVES in Deer River and Bigfork.
May God bless your gifts.
