September Happenings:

On August 16th our “Outdoor Service” (to be held at 10:30 at Ivan & Marion’s. with Potluck to follow. Please bring your own lawn chair if possible) turned out to be indoors as we had an onslaught of wonderful “Garden Healing” rain.   Our “Worship in the Garden” started out with Pastor John sitting in his lawn chair, after all we were asked to bring lawn chairs weren’t we?? During our outdoor / indoor service we participated in a  “Thanksgiving of Baptism” ritual where we dipped a prayer rock in the water and marked each other with the sign of the cross.
“Peace Like a River” was our sending Hymn and with the help of Deena & her daughters we pulled it off HAND GESTURES  and all!
