Barrell stove (1 of 8 that Laura made in her community with WELCA help) These stoves are ovens that use less wood to heat and bake than the large adobe ovens-an important thing in a deforested area.

The world map was drawn on the school wall by the students with the help of Laura and painted by the students. The 2 on the left are students, the 3rd from the left is the English Teacher and the one on the right is Osmany.

This market was created by peace corps volunteers. The tent was purchased with the help of WELCA. The egg plant in front is from donated seeds.
